I love this poem! Insomnia has been brilliantly personified…now I know who to blame for those sleepless nights. Dope! Reply
i really love the way you personify sleep. it’s great. i think the poem can end with the lines of the stanza before the last: she will have her way with me use me and tease me and at sunrise leave me that would be an even stronger ending. nice work 🙂 Reply
Awesome poem!! Very cool! Yes “she” visits me often also. Insomnia to me feels me more like a creature stalking me and striking everyone time I try to close my ends forcing me to open my eyes again to stay awake watchful of any attacks. Reply

yep. definitely nice.
and those last 2 lines are perfection, especially.
This is amazing.. completely sultry/seductive… like a summer night on the eve of winter…
