This reads like “do the right thing”, clear, concise with passion.
And picture used a fine touch to heighten affairs and draw attention to this tragedy. Kudos and blessings
As the person above me said, this reads clear & concise. It captures many of the emotions and events with fire! I love the contrast at the conclusion…dope art! Thanks for linking me in!!!
Excellent. Simply excellent.
It’s interesting that this piece captures your emotions from a time past. The imagery is burned in your brain and poured out in passionate pregnant words. Readers see your vision for this piece and the pain of the inhumanity. Always quality. Thank you for sharing this historical memory.
OG
I’m remembering the time, how terrible it all was, I was afraid on many levels. Your poem brings it back and I realize again the utter horror of it. The innocent were declared guilty and the guilty were declared innocent on both side of the issue! The image of Rodney, the truck driver, the cops as they beat Rodney, the brothers as they beat the truck driver. It was surreal, yet very real.

i thought the same thing: clear & concise.

painfully beautiful portrait of searing words!
